HILTON BRIGHTON METROPOLE & THE WEST PIER

OUR LOCATION is the iconic Metropole Hotel, which looks out directly over Brighton's seafront and the atmospheric ruins of the West Pier. It is only 30 minutes from London Gatwick Airport, Heathrow is around 90 minutes away (2 changes via Heathrow Express) and less than an hour by train from Central London. Built 120 years ago, older fans may remember the hotel as the location of the 1979 and 1987 World Science Fiction Conventions—so you know we have more than enough space to hold a World Fantasy Convention!

The Metropole has the largest meeting space in Brighton and is also larger than most comparable venues in London. It has 9 x Exhibition Halls (more than 8,000 square metres), 28 x Meeting Rooms, 334 x Bedrooms and 10 x Suites. The largest Meeting Room holds 1,300 delegates. There is a fully serviced Business Centre; the Lounge Bar that with patio areas that look directly out over the beach; the more modern Bar 106; the stunning Windsor Restaurant; a luxurious Health Club and Spa, and car parking spaces for 150 vehicles. Situated in the heart of Brighton, the city-centre shops, bars and restaurants—catering to all budgets—are only a five-minute walk away.
